A Messy Christmas Card

Today's card is for Simon Says Stamp's Monday Challenge: Tissue.  I used some new Antique Paper Tape from Bazzill Basics Paper called Blush Red Stripe.


First I took 2 pieces of paper from my MME Vintage Christmas 6x6 pad and inked the edges with my Walnut Stain distress ink.  Then I stamped with my awesome Inkadinkado Christmas Postcard stamp in a hodge-podge way different parts of the image in different colors.


I then laid down some paper tape.  Added a strip of burlap ribbon.  Then I pop-dotted 3 hexagon stickers from My Mind's Eye "All is Bright" sticker page on top of the burlap strip.  Kind of a hot mess, but I think I like it.

    Cheryl...your card is so pretty. I love the colors you've used....I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas colors! :) Love your random stamping of images and the addition of the tissue tape. Very cute! Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. <3 Candy
