**UPDATE: Authentique's Contest has ended, so my Blog Giveaway has Ended as well. I'll announce the winner in a new blog post tonight or tomorrow morning! Good Luck!***
Good Morning Everyone!
I would like to say "Welcome" to my newest followers from the giveaway! Thanks so much for participating! Feel free to share the giveaway with your friends. I'm in the drawing for the $50 Target Gift Card. So far, only 2 other people have sent 20 friends to be eligible for that drawing as well. So I have a 1 in 3 chance of winning! Woot! If I win, then all my friends who helped me by liking Authentique, will be in a drawing for a $50 Target Gift Card as well! Yay! (You can only comment once that I sent you)
I'm still 21 "likes" away from winning the $100 Target Gift Card. So any friends you can send to Authentique's FB page and have them comment that Cheryl Hutcherson, sent them, would be most appreciated!
Now, onto what I did over the weekend in my craft room. I actually still needed to make some more Christmas cards to go with some handmade gifts I'll be handing out to neighbors this week, so here's what I came up with, trying to keep it easy/simple but cute!
Just cut out a Christmas tree shape. I used some thin cardboard-type material so it would be extra sturdy. Then cut 1/2 inch thick strips of your favorite Christmas paper (this one is Bo Bunny's Blitzen), glue them on and then trim off the excess. I ran some Kraft paper through my Paper Crimper for the tree trunk. I used my Modern Label Punch from Stampin' Up to punch out different words from one of the 12x12 sheets of paper in the Blitzen collection and used adhesive foam dots ("pop dots" as I call them) to give them a little dimension. I used my QuicKutz Squeeze to do the star.
Here's a couple more using Echo Park's Season's Greetings paper. I'm down to my final scraps from this 12x12 kit. Sadness!
That's it for today folks. Hope you get a chance to go get your craft on sometime today!
Cheryl
