A 10-Minute Card

I enjoy finding various challenges around the crafting blogs to enter.  I like being given a starting point, i.e. certain colors, certain techniques, etc. and then I can take it from there.

I found THIS July 2012 Challenge by Graphic 45.  The Challenge:  10-Minute Cards.  That was a new one for me!  I'm all about fast and easy cards, so I thought I would give it a try.  I only had one 12x12 sheet of Graphic 45 paper to work with, but it was enough to do the trick.  It was a sheet of their Happy Holidays Christmas Emporium Double-Sided Paper.  (See picture of it below)

I cut down the image of the mom and her kids doing window shopping (top right picture) and then made a separate frame with the holly border that I had cut off.  I popped the frame off the picture to give it a more 3-dimensional frame look.

It doesn't get much easier than that...10 minutes worth of easy!  OH, and it's my first Christmas Card this year.  I'm surprised it has taken me this long!

Now go get YOUR craft on!

  2. I was hoping you would! I know you probably have a lot more G45 paper to work with than I did! Can't wait to see your card!
