Handmade Gift Exchange

As I mentioned in a previous post, I participated in Craftoholics Anonymous' Handmade Gift Exchange this year.  First time ever doing something like that.  So glad I did!  I was so happy when I came across the gift I wanted to make and to have it turn out so well...the first time!  Here's what I made:

But then today I received MY gift!  Oh my!  We exchanged a couple emails to try and get a feel for what the other person likes and added things to a wish list that gave ideas as well.  Let me tell you, she GOT ME!  Here's what she made me:

How adorable is this?!  The snowman was an actual item I had on my wish list that I thought was cute.  So she made it and attached it to this adorable Christmas countdown.  Love anything chalkboard-y right now!  It's so great that it's something the whole family can make use of and enjoy too!  It came with a holder and chalk too!  She thought of everything!  Thank you, Terra!  You're awesome!

Looking forward to participating again next year!  You should too!  If you don't want to wait until next year, it's not too late to pair up with a friend and make a handmade gift for one another!

Got get your homemade crafting on!
