The Most Wonderful Time of the Year...For Unto Us a Child Is Born...and Vinyl!

Meant to get around to posting these pre-Christmas, but here they are nonetheless!

Ever since I finally took the plunge and overcame my fear of working with vinyl in my Silhouette Cameo machine with my Jingle All The Way project, I've been anxious to do more!  I decided I loved this image from the Silhouette online store, so decided to do a couple things with it.

I've had this awesome framed mirror for years now.  It was a clearance Hobby Lobby find.  I decided to cut a piece of paper (it's actually chalkboard paper) to size and fit it inside the frame over the mirror.  I then put my vinyl on the paper and voila!

Love it!

Next, I took this red, distressed frame that I already had and did the same sentiment on the glass part of it.

I took me FOR-EV-ER to decide on the paper for the background.  I'm still not sure I totally love this one.  All the ones I wanted to use weren't big enough pieces because I liked them so much I had already used them for cardmaking or other crafty things.  So I guess I just don't have enough paper.  Must. Get. More. Paper! :)

On to a combination of 2 shapes in the Silhouette online store.

Not the best picture, but oh well!

Go get your vinyl craft on!  It's so much fun!

  1. Great projects! Also, I think the red background paper looks great on the second project.
